Securing the M60 Mower Deck

When you have jobs to get done around your property, the last thing you want to do is stop and spend time swapping out attachments. Fortunately, you can secure your M60 mower in the up position, allowing you to attach three-point implements much easier. Read on to learn everything you need to know.

Locking the M60 Mower

With the tractor running, use your three-point control lever to raise the mower to the highest position. Once you’ve reached this position, turn the tractor off. Then, locate the locking arm. You’ll find one behind each rear wheel. Simply pull the locking arm and rotate it from the storage pin to the latch pin. You may have to move the deck a bit to get it set. With the first pin set, do the same thing on the other side of your tractor to lock the mower deck.

Unlocking the M60 Mower

To unlock the M60 mower deck and return it to service, once again begin by raising the three-point hitch to the highest position and then turn the tractor off. Next, pull out the locking arm and rotate it from the latch pin to the storage pin. After you’ve completed this on both sides, lower the mower deck to your desired height, and you’re ready to mow.
